What are the roles & responsibilities of a camp counselor?

• You are a leader, role model, friend, instructor, guide, big brother or sister, cheerleader, and hero to your campers.
• Primary responsibilities: supervisor, well-being, safety make camp fun and rewarding.
• You’ll live in a cabin or platform tent with a        co-counselor and 8 - 12 campers.
• With your campers 24 hours a day. Meals, day & evening activities and even get them to sleep at night.

What you will get…

*Based on your age, your US skills/qualifications and the type of camp you work at.
*For working the 9 week resident camp or 11 week day camp you will earn:

US$1,480          Counselor - Aged 18
US$1,705          Counselor - Aged 19-20yrs
US$1,940          Counselor - Aged 21 and over
US$1,880          Support Staff

Additional

US$100: Work at a Camp for People with Physical and/or Mental Disabilities. If you choose & are placed at camp that is classified by CCUSA as a “Camp for People with Physical and/or Mental Disabilities”.

US$100 CCUSA ARC Lifeguard *(Only paid to those who attend and successfully pass the CCUSA courses in New York)
