About the Hospitality Professional Year
  • The program is offered for 6, 9, or 12 months
  • Internships are available to you all over Australia, with the concentration being in major cities such as Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne
  • Academic credits may be obtained
  • The program offers rotational and supervisory roles
  • Applicants must be between 18-30 years
  • Candidates may choose which filed they prefer to intern in: F&B, Housekeeping, Front Office, Culinary
  • All internships are awarded wage based professional training positions
  • Only fresh graduates within 18 months of graduation are eligible for the program
  • Participants whose nationality is not listed in the DIAC Level 1 or Level 2 are subjected to approval for the program
  • Applicants eligible for Working Holiday Visa will get to enjoy lower programs fees and be able to take on 2nd and 3rd jobs

Requirements
  • A completed application form with AUD$500 deposit & application fee
  • Current resume or curriculum vitae via email in the right format
  • Statement of your work objectives and how the possibility of an internship would relate to your current studies or occupation, via email
  • Details of your completed or curent studies with academic results from your University
  • Evidence of financial stability for your first two months in Australia. This may include a copy of a bank statement of a letter if financial support from a family member. A rough guide is AUD$1500 for each month
  • A 6 month lead time
  • A high level of English language proficiency is required prior to your work placement
  • Evidence of medical, accident, travel, and personal liability insurance
Visa

This program has been approved by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship for the Special Program Visa processing depending on the time of year. Please be aware that we recommend that you do not book your flight until you have recieved your Visa approval.

Insurance

Our Australia partner will provide all participants completing an Internship with Medical, Accident, Travel and Personal Liability Insurance for the duration of their internship.

Home Stay & Airport Pick Up

Home stay and airport pick up may be arranged in all major locations throughout Australia. Although prices differ from city to city, generally they are always affordable and a great way to experience the real Australian Culture. 4 weeks advance notice is required for all home stay bookings.
