
Work UK Study London
A sandwich course that enables students to embark on a course with an integral work experience placement. This program is popular with non-EU clients as they can apply for a General Student Visa and take part in a study and work experience course.
Program BenefitsThe program offers students a unique pathway of progression into employment where they will have the opportunity to acquire the skills required to successfully complete a period of work experience in the UK. The program covers many aspects from the initial process of applying for work experience to completing it and recognizing the transferable skills that will enhance their employment opportunities upon return to their home country. Students can choose from several different options and durations and can also choose the type of work experience they want to complete.

Note: All certificates are not guaranteed if the client's work has been of a low standard or incomplete. No refunds will be made for certificates not granted. Pleases note that CIE Work Experience Certificate will be withdrawn from 31st December.

Course length for Paid Career Development programs:
Paid Placements in Hospitality and Catering: Aims to improve international understanding and enable trainees to take important skills back to their country of origin. Placements include working in hospitality and catering and other UK.Type of placements available: Hotels, restaurants, bars, other catering establishments, fast-food, campsites, theme parks (not exhaustive)
Fees Include: Study period in one of the Twin schools, Placement, Placement workshop, 24-hour emergency student support
General Student Visa
Applicants must have a guaranteed place at a UK-based institution for full-time study (min of 15 hrs per week), able to support yourself without access to public funds, pay for the course, all accommodation & maintenance and state intention to return to their home country upon completion of course.
English Centre Salisbury: Located in the centre of Salisbury, an unique English city with a cathedral, local market, cobbled streets and historic buildings. Major cities and attractions, i.e. London, Batha and Brighton are within easy reach.
English Centre Eastbourne: Eastbourne is a popular south coast seaside resort located one and a half hours from London. The English Centre Eastbourne is located in central Eastbourne, mintures from the beach, station, shops and entertainment.
English Centre London: Located in Lewisham, a thriving suburb of South-East London, which is less than 10 minutes from Central London by train.
Accommodation
Host Family Accommodation
- All host families are carefully selected and inspected in accorfance to the British Council Host Family Regulations
- Students can choose from a variety of board types (bed and breakfast, half board etc) and specify specific requirements
- Families provide a welcoming base and are a great source of support and information to student
London residential accommodation centres
- A choice of self-catering residences situated within easy travelling distance of Twin English Centre London
- Large single rooms, kitchens and communal area, on-site laundry, 24 hour call out service
Refund Policy
- Once a student has arrived at UK, requests for cancellation will not be granted and all fees are non-refundable.
- If for any reason a participant must leave their training establishment early they must inform SPICE immediately. No fees paid will be refunded.
- If a participant begins their program and decides that it is unsuitable for their requirements, no fees paid will be refundable, although every effort will be made by SPICE to find a suitable establishment with the time available. SPICE will not be responsible for any additional travelling cost etc, which may be incurred in any such move.
- SPICE is at times forced to make changes to services and reserve the right to do so. Changes will be minor and may only involve commencement of placement. If a significant change needs to be made, the applicant will be informed as soon as possible about the necessary changes prior to their departure and in case of a cancellation a full refund will be made. Please note that SPICE will not be held responsible for any travel costs incurred.
Cancellation Terms
Cancellations must be made in writing and using the Cancellation Form. Cancellations will only be accepted from visa nationals as a result of visa denials and official proof of refusal must be submitted to SPICE. After SPICE has provided the student with visa support; cancellation cannot be accepted for any other reason than visa refusal.
